Martin is a boy with diverse thought activity but a fondness of details. The two powers are in constant struggle contrains his potential. He loves music, film and travelling and all the highs awarded from this devotion. He loves his hometown Stockholm who also loves him back. An awareness of current events, talking about himself in third person and gratitude for all the time he spends with his major source of joy, Jannike, who shares his propensity for sleep to an even higher degree, are other defining traits of this artefact.
Born in Malmö his family moved to Bahrain when he was six, returning at age 10, granting him a humanist disposal to other beings and a semi-international identity. His father passed away when he was 7 years old. From the age of 9 he started pursuing the goal of graduating from engineering physics in KTH. In no hurry, this was achieved in 2005. From there the famed banana peal carried him to the Swedish Institute for Disease Control where he works hard with epidemic models, the next goal being a doctoral degree. Luckily he enjoys his work a great deal.
Martin is not uncomplicated, at times a know-it-all and more independant than what's good for him. But generally he likes everybody at first glance, is gentle and easy to get along with, though notoriously awful at keeping in touch.
Concluding my obituary I will write, "Martin was born April 11, 1978".

Being a child of my era I would never dream of disclosing all that info here. Establishment of contact emanates from a first e-mail to the following highly spammable adress:
As a scientist and phd-student I work at the Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control. I am also linked to Karolinska and Stockholm University. My field is epidemiology and epidemic models in particular. As such I'm a member of s-gem a group of similarly minded from which I draw most of my knowledge.
Pursuing this line in Sweden is fortuitous due to abundance of social data. Using survey data on the travel habits of Swedes I built a model simulating the spread of a SARS-like disease. In collaboration with other s-gem members I am currently working on a micromodel with individuals represented explicitly with pandemic flu being the goal. Results are due in 2007. I have also produced a static model to estimate hospital load in the event of a pandemic.
Always in the background is my interest in complex networks which comes natural with epidemiology. Most current is a real network of workplace in Sweden. I am constantly attempt to weight, cluster and simulate disease spread on it. The ultimate goal is a strategy for innoculation.
My supervisors are Fredrik Liljros and Johan Giesecke.

I have two and it makes me a better person. Both were created within days of each other during a blog frenzy. Both relieve me from a constant need to complain and whine. And both are in Swedish.
Jag kittlar tillbaka is about an ongoing dispute with my former telephone operator. They owe me 217kr. The exchange of e-mails between us makes for good reading, I think. Other companies pesturing me also get their share.
Tankesmedjan Camitz is I suppose more active. It get's everything that I think about current events. Occasionaly I get the urge to write to people or just look stuff up. Recently my enquiries are documentet on the blog. As expected, blogging and my enquisitiveness turned out to be mutually catalytic.
At heart, I'm an entrepeneur, or at least I hold some of the traits needed, foremost of which, I'm full of crazy ideas. However I loath selling. I will need a partner lacking that particular virtue.
I run two brands. SimpleTask and Din mamma jobbar inte här. The best things about them is not the brands theselves.
Supposedly dormant but may yet again spring to life and render me economically independant. Helped me through my studies.
A very time consuming project which has brought me to fame at my workplace where it is used. The more convenient acronym Dibie is concealed among the letters spelling out the brand name. It is a web based system for scheduling work shifts in the common kitchen using a point system. Works beautifully and is on the verge of release to the national market.
